Happy holidays! For those of you who, you know, had a holiday last week. And by holiday, I obviously mean Black Friday.
I don't think I went crazy with the shopping, but I did pick up a few things I'd had my eye on. A new holiday dress, some tights, a couple of pairs of shoes. I guess I could have gotten presents for people, but... I didn't. 

In all seriousness, though, I'm kind of freaking out about Christmas presents. For a really long time the only people I bought for were me, myself, and I (and maybe a significant other, if I liked them), but this is the third Christmas that I'm spending with Brian's family, and I really want to make sure I'm getting each of them something they'll love. They're hard people to shop for, though - they literally have everything, and the money to buy the things they want that they don't have. Anyone have any creative suggestions?

I bought this sweater a couple of months ago for $5. Can you believe that price? For a 50s or 60s beaded cashmere sweater. It's got a couple of moth nibbles, but nothing that noticeable, especially given the color. I can see myself grabbing this again and again this winter.
Did anyone else pick up some presents this weekend? For yourself, or for someone else?
