Dirty Sweaty Rock n' Roll
It has been crazy hot and humid here lately. I'm talking 90 degrees and 90% humidity, the evenings and early mornings peppered with thunderstorms. It's not really my kind of weather, but at a certain point you just have to kind of embrace the fact that you're going to turn into a sweaty mess and move on with your life.
Lately I've been living in Brian's castoff shirts, and this one has become a particular favorite. It's just so comfortable, and there's something that I find really sexy about an oversized mens' shirt with a few buttons undone. Plus, it's got little guitars on it! He was actually going to get rid of it when we moved, can you believe it?
I've also been reaching for this skirt time and time again. It's short, but the stretchy denim does a great job staying in place when I'm riding - no Marilyn moments for me. The only downside is that I really can't keep a white skirt clean, and in the month or so that I've had this, it's already accumulated an impressive array of marks and smudges, despite my best efforts. I've seen a lot of different versions of the same thing around lately, though, so I'm thinking about finding something similar in a more traditional blue denim, or maybe black.
And finally, the best picture ever of me.
Happy Friday!
