This dress. Oh my god.
I came across it on Etsy a while back, and it just kept popping back into my head. It's just such a perfect piece to me - the vibrant yellow color, bold pattern, the 60s styling. I got a nice surprise bonus at work recently, and I knew immediately that I had to get it.
Sometimes I have to laugh at myself a little bit. I used to have a real aversion to yellow, and the 60s was one decade that I didn't think suited my body to any great extent. I think it just goes to show that it never pays to write something off completely, at least in terms of style.
I went a little wild with my bonus, actually. I've got a few things coming that I'm really, really excited about, so hopefully I'll be able to feature them soon.
So, you know how it is when you order burritos and you don't want to get anything on your new dress, so you take it off and put an apron on over your underwear?
Uh, yeah, me neither.
