The Pumpkin Queen
Just one week until Halloween! As I've mentioned many, many times before, Halloween is my favorite holiday. I've always been someone who thinks of fashion as a sort of costume anyway, so the chance to play that up and take it to the next level is something to be embraced in my books.
The old warehouse where Brian builds his furniture was a WWII supply depot, and significant ports of it are basically abandoned. You find the strangest things there - half finished pieces of art, plaster casts for lamps, old mannequins. There's something almost otherworldly about it, and I can't help but wonder about the people that used to work there.
This 1950s party dress is a perfect fit with the holiday at hand. I felt a bit like the child of Sally and Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas with my red hair and black and white stripes.
So, Happy Halloween to all you spooky guys and girls out there! I hope everyone has something fun in store for the week to come.
