2016 In Review: Outtakes

For every photograph that appears on this blog, there are at least 10 that don't make the cut. Some of them are just not quite right - the lighting or the pose didn't show off the outfit (or, you know, me) the way that I want them to, the background doesn't seem quite right, etc. And some of them... well, see for yourself.

Action Shots Are Tough

Oh, the jump shot. My old nemesis. There's a reason I don't do too many of these anymore.

I'm honestly not sure what I was trying to accomplish here, but my face! I look like I'm going to leap the wall and kill someone.

Trying to liven up a slightly dull outfit shoot by getting a good shot of me throwing snow in the air. Uh... better luck next year?

A Good Background Is Hard To Find

Because what livens up a good shoot like a crappy car in the background?

Who's the star here, me or the tree?

Doesn't really matter how sultry you look with a fire hydrant, the back side of a stop sign, a lady walking her dog, etc in the background.

Dude, where's my frame?

The joys of self photography, amirite?

Closer, but still no cigar.

A Whiter Shade of Pale

No, I'm not just a set of lips and nostrils floating in a sea of white. Thankfully.

The light! It burns!

Blinking. Just f*ing blinking.

Of course, there's a difference between an accidental stinker during a photo shoot, and a vacation photo when you have no makeup on and a pair of ill fitting pants over an ill fitting swimsuit.

Oh, the glamorous life.

I always love this part of the year - combing through my old photos, looking for the bad, the worse, and the ugly. This is definitely one tradition I'm happy to keep going!

My fellow blog sisters, please feel free to post some of your own outtakes in the comments!
