Exeuent Alice, Through a Rabbit Hole

"Wonderland is not what it used to be," Alice thought to herself. In the old days, when everything was new to her, it had been, well, wonderful. A strange place, and a magical one, so different from a home that felt hopelessly quotidian in comparison. 

Year after year, though, things had shifted and settled; friends had left to be replaced by strangers, and the sideways rules of the world that had so confounded and delighted her in years past became, simply, the way things were. 

"Perhaps it is time to find a way back up the rabbit hole," she suddenly said aloud. "But I am not sure I still remember the way..."
