Green As The Grass Grows

This dress is one of the first items of vintage that I ever purchased. Considering how long it's been part of my wardrobe, it's tough to make it feel fresh, but simple brown leather and straw accessories, plus an armful of wooden bangles, made it feel like a perfect summer ensemble.

Last week was a holiday week, but for some reason it felt really hectic. It doesn't help that I haven't been sleeping super well (this weird thing keeps happening where I'll hear someone saying my name in a dream and it wakes me up - has anyone else ever experienced that?), so I've felt grumpy and distracted lately. I think I need a little weekend holiday, a break from the routine of daily life. Maybe I need to talk Brian into a little weekend road trip sometime soon...
